We started at Palaestra back in 2019 when my oldest daughter wanted to gain some tumbling skills for cheerleading. I was very hesitant about signing her up because she had zero skills and was very self conscious about not even knowing how to cartwheel… Then we met Coach Steve and her worries melted away within minutes of starting the class! He was so kind and positive to her even though she did not have even the most basic skills. All class he boosted her confidence with his high energy and positivity and by the time class ended she was over the moon and excited to come back. We have not left the gym since that day, all 4 of my kids absolutely love going to class whether it's tumble, preschool gymnastics, or team! I am so thankful we signed up for tumble all those years ago, my kids have gained many skills and Palaestra has become a 2nd home to us!!!

Hi PGA, Just wanted to send over a quick thank you! This gym is fantastic. My seven year old has been in her class for awhile now and Coach Steve does so well with her. He pays close attention to each gymnast regardless of their skill level and the kids learn social skills as well. How incredibly thoughtful of you to take the time to put those gifts together and hand deliver them to your girls. The team spirit you instill and inspire in these girls is like nothing I have ever experienced in gymnastics. I am so impressed! My two young daughters are in the gymnastics program and they adore it!-as do I! Stephen and Kathy know their stuff, and are amazing with the children! The equipment is beautiful and it's such a huge gym! My girls are excelling quickly and it's taught them lessons and values they can bring home as well. I am thoroughly impressed! So happy they came to Derry!

Top notch! This gym and staff deserves 10 stars!!! I took gymnastics with Kathy when I was a young girl and am now taking my 5 year old daughter to her! We are beyond thrilled to be a part of the team here at Palaestra! The self-esteem building and confidence that Kathy and her son Stephen instill in the kids is something that I have yet to find in all other sports we've tried. They truly are compassionate about the sport and equally about the kids. I feel like family when we are here and my daughter just can't wait each week to come and participate in the class and see Kathy and Stephen!!

What kid doesn't like doing flips and jumping on trampolines? But mostly to feel GOOD ABOUT THEMSELVES!!!
